Rugby League Community Lions U18s head coach Kelvin Lockett has named a 20-man squad ahead of his side’s game against the touring Australian Institute of Sport at Heworth ARLFC, York, on Wednesday 7 December, kick off 7.30pm.

The squad will train on Saturday 3 December, after which Lockett will name his side for the encounter against the highly-rated tourists.

Gillette Conference Youth League champions Thatto Heath Crusaders provide three members of the squad, as do Cumbrian outfit Wath Brow Hornets, whilst there could be plenty of local interest as Heworth’s Tyler Craig is in with a chance of selection for a game which is to be played on his home ground.

The AIS – currently in France for a two-game trip – kicked off their tour with a convincing 40-12 victory over France U19s and they will also take on France U17s, Wales U18s and the England Academy side before concluding their tour with the Community Lions clash.
